Stevie Production was created by Paula Wilson to champion true stories that matter. Her mission is to bring personal history, social impact, and emotional truth to the screen—starting with her own.
Paula Wilson is a storyteller, writer, illustrator, adoption advocate, mother, wife and founder of Stevie Production.
As the first Filipino child adopted by a U.S. couple under the Congressional Refugee Relief Act of 1953, Paula’s own life has been shaped by identity, resilience, and love found in unexpected places. Her memoir, Finding Out: Coming to Terms with Adoption, is now being adapted into a film—Finding Out—a deeply personal and historically rooted story that reflects her values both on and off screen.
Through Stevie Production, Paula is focused on bringing to light stories that matter—especially those that highlight overlooked histories, social realities, and the power of human connection. While Finding Out is the current centerpiece, Stevie Production is a home for thoughtful, mission-driven storytelling that doesn’t shy away from complexity.
At Stevie Production, our mission is to tell meaningful, human-centered stories that inspire empathy, spark dialogue, and reflect the strength found in lived experience. We focus on true stories that explore identity, resilience, and social impact—especially those that often go unheard.
